Understanding and challenging public institutions

Ryan has approximately nine years' experience across criminal justice advocacy, casework, legal and public interest research, information and support.

He founded Conviction in 2017 and Criminal Justice Hub in 2018. His wider institutional experience includes work at HM Courts & Tribunals Service and service as a Public Governor for the City of Manchester constituency at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Ryan holds an LLB (Hons), awarded at Upper Second Class level. He is a Student Member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and received a Middle Temple Access to the Bar Award.
